HyperTexted was established in 2018 by Ruel Nolledo (he/him). With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, Ruel has taken on a range of roles in policy and government affairs, fundraising and communications. In the past, he’s run advocacy communication campaigns, drafted state legislation, authored several policy briefs, and raised more than $2 million in funding through grant writing.

A third-generation Filipino American, Ruel currently lives in Downtown Los Angeles with his husband and their dog.
